Greek Glendi Festival

The 24th Annual Greek Glendi Festival will be held February 7,8,9, & 10 Thursday to Saturday 11:00 to 21:00, and Sunday 12:00 to 20:00 at the St Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 7671 Lockwood Ridge Rd,
Sarasota.

Admission is $3 and parking is free.

The four days of celebration include:

Live Greek music and folk dancing
Greek food and pastries
Greek market place with crafts and jewelry
Church tours highlighting the magnificent Byzantine mosaics
Children’s activities
Yia Yia Attic Treasures

Also available is a raffle of a 2008 Lexus ES350 plus 2nd through 5th prizes of cash up to $15,000. Tickets are $100 donation with only 1900 tickets sold. The drawing will be held Feb 10 at 7pm. See www.stbarbarafestival.org for more information.
