The 24th Annual Greek Glendi Festival will be held February 7,8,9, & 10 Thursday to Saturday 11:00 to 21:00, and Sunday 12:00 to 20:00 at the St Barbara Greek Orthodox Church, 7671 Lockwood Ridge Rd,
Sarasota.
Admission is $3 and parking is free.
The four days of celebration include:
- Live Greek music and folk dancing
- Greek food and pastries
- Greek market place with crafts and jewelry
- Church tours highlighting the magnificent Byzantine mosaics
- Children’s activities
- Yia Yia Attic Treasures
Also available is a raffle of a 2008 Lexus ES350 plus 2nd through 5th prizes of cash up to $15,000. Tickets are $100 donation with only 1900 tickets sold. The drawing will be held Feb 10 at 7pm. See www.stbarbarafestival.org for more information.
